About Botswana Safaris

This site is an independent guide to Botswana written to answer the questions travellers actually ask before they visit.

We are not a booking agent. Everything here is reference material, from when to go and what a safari costs to how to get there and where to stay, so you can plan with confidence and then book with a recognised operator of your choice.

The site is organised around two long-form hubs, the Botswana travel guide and the Botswana safari guide, with detailed pages behind them covering the national parks and reserves, the wildlife, the seasons and the practical admin of a trip.

Every guide is researched from primary sources and kept as practical and specific as possible. Where the numbers move, such as park fees and gate times, we check them against what the authorities publish rather than repeating what other sites say.
